Is the free plan really free?
Yes. Free workspaces get recordings up to 5 minutes, 1 GB of storage, and AI transcripts and summaries. No credit card needed.
How does the AI work?
When processing finishes, Mool transcribes the audio with Whisper and asks a large language model to write a short summary plus concrete action items. Everything runs on Cloudflare Workers AI — your video never leaves the platform's infrastructure.
Do viewers need an account?
No. Anyone with a share link can watch, read the AI summary, and comment (if you allow it). You control visibility per link: private, workspace-only, unlisted, public, or password-protected.
What's different about the desktop app?
The desktop app adds a floating recorder widget that stays on top of your screen, collapses to a tiny pill while recording, and supports pause/resume, native screen-permission handling, and tray shortcuts.
How is billing handled?
Subscriptions are per workspace and processed by Stripe. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from Settings — when a subscription ends, the workspace drops to the free plan and your videos remain accessible.
